• Remained inside Sora long after the events of BBS with some level of consciousness.
• His presence along with Kairi's heart made Sora unable to use darkness while he was human. The light from their hearts acted like a shield, keeping Ansem from getting a proper vessel.
• When Sora freed Kairi's heart and became a Heartless, he helped give him something to latch onto, so that the darkness wouldn't overwhelm him.
• Acts as a sort of conscience for Sora as they help Riku from the shadows.
